Rehabilitation is never the work of a single professional. It involves a complementary set of actors: physicians, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, psychologists, social workers, and caregivers. Together, they build a coherent pathway to optimize functioning and reduce disability, according to WHO’s definition.
I am Christophe Delong, autonomy coordinator at Jamacare. Every day, I see that this interprofessional coordination makes all the difference. A patient with a serious accident does not regain autonomy thanks to a single actor. The physician organizes care, the physiotherapist works on mobility, the occupational therapist adapts the home, the social worker ensures access to rights, the caregiver supports daily life, and I coordinate everything so that the patient can live as fully as possible.
Rehabilitation is a symphony of many voices. Each is essential, and this collaboration transforms health into a complete and human experience.
Let’s value every skill in rehabilitation and bring each actor into this collective dynamic with Jamacare.
