Medicine treats diseases, but rehabilitation builds lives. It links treatment to a normal, autonomous, and socially engaged life. Prevention acts before illness, curative care treats it, palliative care accompanies, but rehabilitation transforms recovery into a concrete life project.
I am Christophe Delong, autonomy coordinator at Jamacare. Working in the homes of elderly and disabled people shows me that every gesture, every home adaptation, every coordination of assistance contributes to a global life project. A child with multiple disabilities attending school, an adult regaining work or social life: rehabilitation makes it possible.
It is not only medical; it is human and social. It mobilizes doctors, physiotherapists, social workers, and caregivers for a complete and coherent approach.
Let’s build life projects together through rehabilitation with Jamacare.
