CHRISTOPHE DELONG Coordinateur d’Autonomie

Votre autonomie, notre expertise Aide à domicile premium avec coordination personnalisée et gestion totale des démarches dans l’Ouest Parisien

If we want to talk about autonomy, we need to talk about them. The care assistants. These professionals who, every day, support older adults and people with disabilities with essential tasks. Washing, meals, mobility, outings, conversations. They do not “just” perform tasks — they create bonds, they make dignified living possible.

And yet, too often, they remain invisible. They work in the shadows, with difficult schedules, unstable planning, and little recognition. I have seen too many care assistants left to manage alone, without the right information or training, even though they are the keystone of home care.

This is why I wanted Jamacare to place care assistants at the center. My role as an autonomy coordinator is first and foremost to support them. To help them work in better conditions. To give them clear, practical, tailored instructions. To translate medical language into actionable, simple guidelines.

We must stop considering care assistants as interchangeable labor. They are professionals in their own right, and their work is as vital as that of a doctor. Jamacare is a project to give them back that recognition.

And because no one can be present 24 hours a day, teleassistance completes their role. Not to replace them, but to extend their presence and secure the times when they are not there. Together, assistants and teleassistance form a coherent system.

For years, I thought my role was to prescribe or to operate. Today, I know my mission is also to make visible those who hold the system together. With Jamacare, I put my medical background at the service of this goal.
